Chicken Wrap

Chicken Wrap (Or Salad) Recipe

A chicken wrap is something we have ordered at various restaurants however, it does not seem to check all the boxes like our wraps do at home! We enjoy eating at home knowing the quality of our food, and that it allows us to include exactly what we think makes the wrap taste amazing. We use simple ingredients that taste delicious and always leave us craving more. It is also a great way to include items that are high in protein to consume with dinner!

What you’ll need: (roughly 2-4 servings)

  • Chicken (1 breast)

  • Cheese (as desired)

  • Lettuce (3 hearts)

  • Avocado (1)

  • Onion (1/2 yellow onion)

  • Tomato (1)

  • Tortilla Wrap (as desired)

  • Mayo (as desired)

  • Sriracha Sauce (as desired)

  • Salt & Pepper

Cooking Instructions:

  • To start, butterfly your chicken breast by slicing down the middle to create two even pieces.

  • Pound and season both sides of the chicken with salt & pepper.

  • Warm up a pan for the chicken & once warm add olive oil, then add both pieces of the chicken.

  • Cook on medium-high heat for 5-7 min per side. Cover with lid when cooking both sides.

  • Rinse and slice the romaine lettuce. Can pat with a paper towel and put aside to let air dry.

  • Mix mayo and sriracha sauce in order to create the dressing & set aside.

  • Use a cheese grater to have slices of fresh cheese of your choice (recommend colby jack).

  • Slice the tomato, avocado, and onion to prep them for the wrap (size them as desired).

  • Ensure the chicken has been cooked for the ideal time and let it sit for a few minutes. Once cooked, slice the chicken into 1/4 size pieces to easily mix it with the other items for the wrap.

  • The romaine lettuce can now be used by combining it with the dressing and mixing it all together.

  • Mix the dressing with the sliced chicken, tomato, avocado & onion so it can all be added to the tortilla.

  • Grab a tortilla and place it on the stove to warm it up so it is easier to wrap. Ideally would move the tortilla around a few times so the outside layer can get warmed up as well. Can also add cheese a few seconds before removing it from the stove.

  • Only fill roughly 3/4 of everything mixed together to the tortilla so it will all fit.

  • Wrap the tortilla with all the fixings inside & enjoy! (ideally try and fold the ends first and then wrap the middle section similar to a burrito).

  • Thank you for using our recipe, we hope you love every bite!
